Slates were born from the idea that every formula Blank Wheel Co. makes can be altered and changed based on rider feedback, making every new batch a "blank slate".

Fresh out of the wrap these wheels feature a grippy skin and good roll speed. Once the aggressive skin is worn past it is succeeded by a gentle, controllable and somewhat thaney urethane. The now skinless Slates have a forgiving edge, and gentle stopping power that resemble safely rolling a stop sign; a safe amount breaking power without the lurch.

Base Slates: the Original Classic, Skinned, Square Lipped Slates

Stone Ground Slates: Still square lipped, just without the intimidating skin

Round Slates: May as well be a new wheel, massive bevels on both lips poured in the Slate formula, comes stoneground

Rain Slates: Comes stoneground with 4 straight grooves with 2 different depths and two different widths, for various wet condions
